CEREMONY

Situated on the hillside of a Historic Site, this structure is strategically positioned to preserve views from the castle while facilitating seamless access within and around the site. The primary emphasis in my design approach for this project rested on establishing a clear hierarchy of spaces. I engaged in massing experimentation to craft a visual hierarchy, accentuating the distinct spaces in terms of their heights. This contrast is underscored by variations in materiality, and the strategic incorporation of glazing, fostering a more open spatial connection to the surrounding exterior.
